More Component to Sub-Assembly Mapping between Infraworks & Civil3D

More Component to Sub-Assembly Mapping between Infraworks & Civil3D

The Current capability to import an Infraworks component road into Civil3D as a corridor and assembly is good, but we need more sub-assembly types to be supported.

If we had a few more sub-assembly options, it would allow us to create quick documentation drawings based on a concept design in Infraworks.

Ideally if we could map an Infraworks component to a C3D sub-assembly, say through an attribute in infraworks that looks for a sub-assembly by name in C3D. That would allow the corridor to be created with the correct codes and subsequently present correctly for sketches and quick plans.

If we just had a verge/grassed area that would help a lot.

I note that the following components in Infraworks have issues or dont come through to C3D: Battered Curb, Generic Shape, Null, Sidewalk, Sloped Asphalt, Sloped Grass.

More country/region specific content would also be useful.
