The 'four arrow' full screen button in upper right doesn't change to indicate what the next button push will actually do.   When InfraWorks launches it correctly shows four arrows pointing outward, to go full screen.    Click that to go full screen, and the button looks the same, when the arrows should be pointed inward to leave full screen. Hitting Escape in full screen, just results in a 'Unable to open Model' error message, instead of leaving full-screen.   Click that again to leave full screen, and you first leave full screen and then subsequently reduce from maximized as well.     Cheers Show More

When you insert a road component, it would be ideal to have more grips on the transition and other zones. For instance, you can grab the transition zone and move it back and forth instead of just the black grips. Or you could grab the center of the component and move the entire piece back and forth along the alignment. This would be much more efficient instead of moving each black grip one at a time. I would also suggest the zones between the grips highlight a magenta or yellow when you mouse over to indicate you could grab that particular zone.  Show More

Currently when you switch between a Steel Plate or Precast Concrete bridge any work done in either scenario is lost if you switch between the two options.   This is incredibly annoying when you have worked out your pier setting out and arrangements, for the client to then change their mind of the type of structure they want.   Can we have a switch where we can "lock" the arrangement and the only thing that changes is the bridge type and not the setting out. When creating a storyboard with a date/time animation, it would be great to add a caption showing the elapsed date and time. Currently, we can only add text. I would presume this would be an attribute/field exposed to the caption tool.   On that note, it would be an added benefit to access fields in captions for road names, trafffic volumes, etc. for basic information all the way thru analysis information. Once multiple proposals exist: The existing context becomes fragile and hard to maintain. Updates to topo, imagery, or context data must be repeated or merged. Infraworks applies a roof slope along every edge of a building with no control over which faces should initiate the slope or not. I'd like to see more control over this to allow for more realistic conditions such as gable ends, low-slope (single pitch) and others. I've been using InfraWorks more and more for site context. When I bring in DWG files as a 2D overlay, the method to position the file accurately is very unwieldy. There's the square grip at one corner that moves the drawing without scaling it. The problem is that it's always so far away from what I need to align to (like streets). I can get sort of close, but fine tuning once I zoom in becomes impossible.   I'm proposing a Nudge tool using the arrow keys and a Super Nudge (10X Nudge) using the SHIFT+arrows, similar to what Revit uses. When importing data, the default path is set to 'My Documents'. It would be more efficient if it defaulted to the current project folder instead, or the option to change default path. Adding 20 data sources means many extra clicks per source just to navigate away from 'My Documents' each time. Show More

When i importe data from civil 3d to IW the application give a list of alignment and enable user to chose which aligments and corridor come along with them should be use. The problem is 1 alignment maybe be used by many corridors and some of which i dont want to bring to IW model. IW should give user a more flexible options of import civil3d data than this Show More

The custom grading should also save to assembly libray as well not just the components (or there maybe a separated library for grading). Also when i reimport data source of imported alignments the custom grading is wipe out and i have to readjust grading one more time for each data source changments. Often, we work with X and Y offsets in Infraworks. For example when exporting an FBX or when importing stuff from a local coordinate system.   Here is an example of the default value when exporting an FBX ... which I always change to a custom value, my Favourite value       My suggestion is the ability to save named Favourites. 1.
