Girders should follow bridge alignment

Girders should follow bridge alignment

Hello everybody,

based on this post: the intersection misses bridges (http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/infraworks-360-general/the-intersection-misses-bridges/td-p/6427180), and through the suggestion of @Eduardo.Soethe, I will like to put your attention on the following fact.

Is it possible to make girders follow automatically the bridge?

@elliott.rosenfeld already provided the possible solution. But why don't we put it as automatic?

Have a wonderful week.

At the moment, most of the concrete sections that are included in IW360 are for precast girder types, which would be usually straight.  With project Kameleon, new parametric sections can be added such as multi-cell box girders that could be cast-in-place and curved in plan.

We are working on letting users created their own bridge templates and this will allow users to customize a bridge with their desired components (such as abutments, piers, foundations, girders and whether these are straight of curved in plan etc).  With this more flexible approach, users will be able to choose from their own catalog of bridges when creating a new bridge.
