When using gamma correction on aerial imagery I can never remember if a smaller number makes it darker or brighter. It would be helpful if there was a exposure slider or a brighter/darker slider with the ability to punch in a number if a user desired for finer tuning.
While we didn't change the way to specify the Gamma on the Data Source configuration panel for imagery, we did create a slider to control surface opacity view the Views earlier this year. While it's not the same thing, it does allow you to control the brightness and transparency of the image via a slider without having to change the Gamma value.
This idea will be marked "Implemented" but if you feel that's not the case, please send me a message or post a new idea to the forums.
