Export 3D Model to Revit using DXF, DWG or SAT formats

To solve a common workflow for Architects that need to make conpect designs of urbanism, it should be very usefull to transform/convert surfaces, street, runway, pads and any terrain adjustment made on INFRAWORKS to editable objects in REVIT.

Today, we can use FORMIT to import an OBJ file, and then Export it as DXF file to import in Revit and convert to Toposurface.

For example, a runway or a street would be converted to a Floor, surfaces to Terrain, and so on... and maybe they could be recognized as Site Design elements.

With Infraworks integration into Revit we cover the early stages of Conceptual Design.

This is common for Government first estimations of investiment, or Huge Condominium Master Plan.

Yes. I am using a workflow starting on Infraworks, exporting to Fomit and then to DXF, to finally import in Revit.
But, the result isn't good.

There is a way importing Infrawork model to Navisworks, and them link the Navisworks file into Revit.

But, if no better integration, I will prefer exporting infrawork model as SAT file in order to import the SAT file (ACIS solids) into Revit; because that way I can Road Category to imported elements (the only way to reach Road Category in Revit as far as I know).

InfraWorks only has DAE, OBJ and IMX export options. Those don't import into Revit. FormIt is limited in how well it imports into Revit and is really not the tool we should be using. Civil3D depends on having a BIM360 subscription. The site tools in Revit are non-existent. Why can't we link in an InfraWorks model directly and then be able to manipulate that? Please, Autodesk!
