A rather popular intersection type, which many US DOTs are using more and more, is the divergent diamond. In fact, In North Carolina, we had a divergent diamond over an overpass with roundabouts at either side to route traffic entering and exiting the highway. It was used 3 times over a 14 mile alignment.
Anyway, I would like to see this as an intersection option in future versions of Infraworks.
