Customizing layers in webviewer and meassurments

Hi!

I'm working with urban planning and designing roads/railways and have a request regarding the webviewer.

Customizing layers:

It is often requested(note living in Sweden) that we show a number of layers in the webviewer so that our clients can review our models and give feedback. At the moment we're managing this via coding a schema.im.json file and it feels as if it could be easier to do this in an interface inside the program.

Meassure distances in webviewer:

We would also like it if it was possible to meassure distances in the webviewer. It is often brought up when meeting public or clients how our design impacts thier property and questions about distances appears. It would be very nice to have the possibility to to this in the viewer.

Regards

Pontus

Hi Pontus,

Would you mind posting this as two separate ideas? Just edit the one you've posted by removing the "measure distances" part, and then post a new idea with that information.

Thanks!

Hi,

It seems as if I can't find the edit button. Is there any and if so how do I edit my post here under IdeaStation?

Hi Pontus,

Once you are logged in you get Idea Options at the top left of your post.

Maybe you can elaborate a little on your first idea. What exactly are you striving for with the layer control.

Thanks,

M

Status changed to: Future Consideration

Due in part to low community support, we're not considering this idea at this time but we'll keep it on the list for future consideration.

You should consider re-posting these as two individual ideas. The added clarity may help in gathering community support.
