Cul de Sacs and Knuckles

Cul de Sacs and Knuckles

I do a lot of residential design and it would be great if there could be intelligent "intersection like" objects for cul de sacs and knuckles. Adding those really makes the difference in making a model look realistic. Currently, I have to make coverages from shape files for sidewalk, AC, curb, and parkway to get the intended effect. It's a real pain in the butt.

please see the attached link for a model I put together.

the options would be assymetrical and symmetrical cul de sacs as well as knuckles. Options on the asset card for the tangent lengths and curb radii would be awesome. Also an option to turn them off if you don't want a Cul de Sac for some reason.

Cheers

Justin, Definitely. This, unfortunately, keeps skipping due to other priorities. We are working with the team to address this soon.  Thanks for your support.

Thanks for the reply, Ramesh. Any chance of a guesstimate on when this may happen?

Thanks!

This in addition to other intersection related requests (like this), ideas and feedback are being considered for near future implementation. Please stay tuned.

Yeah - there's very little development going on. Most commonly with products Autodesk acquired and didn't develop in-house.
