Infraworks currently grades terrain using two models, fixed width and fixed slope.
A useful addition to these functions would be two additional modifiers "Maximum slope" and "Retaining wall".
Maximum slope would function really nicely with "fixed width", which doesn't appear to have a maximum slope which it will grade to - resulting in unfeasibly steep cuts / fills.
Retaining wall as a built-in grading option would allow for automatic assignment of retaining walls where the slope becomes vertical (beyond the grading width limit).
A maximum width for "fixed width" grading, along with with a 'maximum slope' ceiling, and an automatic retaining wall function, (combined with the existing materials calc and quantities export) would make Infraworks a very powerful and scalable design tool.
Finally, it would be excellent to be able to export the footprint of component roads (including graded areas) to ESRI GDB, or to ArcGIS Online.
