XML Alignment Imports with Too Many Points

I import an xml alignment and it has far more vertices than the original alignment from C3D which makes it completely un-editable.  Has anyone else seen this?

Yep. Don't use XML, use IMX.

Thanks for that input!  That may well be the solution but the road that is created from the alignment doesnt seem to let me change its style.  It always comes in as a 4 lane generic.  Is this related to IMX out from C3D or something else I'm doing wrong?

You should be able to change it to anything you want. Can you give me a screenshot?

Forgive my newness.  I thought I could assign an assembly type to an entire road by selecting.  I dont think my problem is related to IMX import.

Thanks.

@todd.hunter

Please use Right-click on selected road and replace assembly
