Viewing a model from another computer or using 3D mouse via a RDC session

Hi,

I have a very large InfraWorks model sitting on a PC in the office that I would like to present from another geographic location. I can access my PC via my laptop using a Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection but I am unable to use my 3D Mouse (3D Connexion SpacePilot Pro) as it doesn't pass the USB device through remotely.

Are there any options available to either use my 3D mouse remotely, or is there a way I can open the model directly from my laptop without duplicating my model?

Cheers,

Steve

Hi @srksphillips ,

this sounds more like a 3D mouse related issue rather than an InfraWorks issue.

I don't have an answer for you other than either use Bim360 doces to show your model in a browser window - although it looks different there.

Or upload you model to Bim360 docs from your remote PC and synchronize to your laptop, so you have a local version on your laptop.

Regards,

Karsten.
