Transition slab?

Hello there,  I'm trying to model some elements like transition slabs and pre-cast slab elements. Is It possible to do so in Infraworks and if so, how should I model those ?

Thanks a lot

The recommended way is to add the approach slab as part of the custom abutment model, as shown in the following image.  Usually, the abutment will have a dedicated corbel and possibly a sleeper detail at the other end of the approach slab as well.  The custom abutment would also usually need to accommodate a skew value for the abutment and the approach slab.

Hello, Ara. Thanks for the response.
Would you mind sharing this model of abutment so I can understand the way you modelled It and parameters required?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Diego

Find attached that Inventor assembly, as an example. One thing to note is that it was developed with an upcoming enhancement to abutment seats (and pier cap geometries) that will allow users to model more complex/flexible seats, with steps etc.  That said, the modeling of the approach slab will provide for some guidance.
