Slope pipelines

Hi,

Shouldn't the slope of the pipeline be shown here? And if I try to enter a value other than 0.00%, Infraworks crashes!

Hey @egil.rasmussen!

This is a pipeline created by the command "pipeline", right? The reason I asked this, if you create a "drainage network"  with pipelines and structures, the pipeline properties come a little different.

As you can see, InfraWorks calculates the slope and update it if you change the start or end inverts. Therefore, I advise creating this drainage network to better evaluate the properties. If the structures are not important, you may delete them.

Clicking on the blue cone for pipelines gives you the elevation but this is info from that point, therefore there is no slope. If you change it IW crashes for pipelines created both from "pipeline" and "drainage network"...this may be solved in updates.

Best regards,

Hi @Matheus-Lima

Thanks for the feedback. I am familiar with the function "drainage network", but sometimes I use pipelines for slightly simpler desing works (which do not necessarily have anything to do with pipes), and it would have been nice if the slope between 2 points was correct, and that one had the possibility to change it in the function "Pipelines"
