Reprojection has failed error

I am trying to attach a Civil 3D surface to InfraWorks.  The Civil 3D dwg file coordinate system is set to OSGB1936.NationalGrid, so is the Geo Location in the configuration tab of the attached source file in InfraWorks.  The raster image imported fine with its geo location set to OSGB1936.NationalGrid.  Any ideas what is causing this and what I do about it?

into the database coordinate system:

How about trying this.

Take the Civil 3D surface and Export it to DEM in the GeoTiff format.

Create a new project in Infraworks.

Set the Model Properties so that both the Database coordinate system and the UCS match your database coordinate system.

Add the two data sources as rasters (the DEM GeoTiff and your overlying geocoded photographic image).

Configuire them as you did earlier and see what happens.
