Piers close to bridge Start

Hi, I'm trying to create this bridge that the piers are really close to the start and end of the bridge.

Everytime that I put the right value to the pier offset, it just vanishs.

I think that is occuring because of the override between the road offset and the pier, but in this case, they do override.
