Model builder terrain is not accurate (Australia)

Hi,

I am from Perth, Australia. I tried to import a context model in Subiaco using the model builder function, but the elevations are 5-7m taller than what it's supposed to be, in comparison to NearMap downloaded from MNG.

I found similar questions on the forum with answers that suggested downloading data from Elvis or Laszip and then import into Infraworks as point cloud. Since those posts dated back to 2016 and 2017, I wonder if there's a better method to construct a site model with accurate terrain in 2023. Thank you in advance.

Infraworks Terrian data is from openstreet meaning it's inaccurate. If you want to generate the accurate terrain, I suggest using civil 3D and then importing either landxml from civil 3d or directly from civil 3D.

Thanks @hamzatariq70 , I actually found the solution of downloading LiDAR DEM from https://elevation.fsdf.org.au/ in Geotiff format, it works well when imported into Infraworks as a Raster data source. 🙂
