Infraworks failed to create an intersecion.

Hi everybody

here I have an issue with creating an intersection in infaworks 2021. since infraworks create its own intersection while 2 roads reached to each other. in my case Infraworks can't create my intersectin or roundabout automatically. any idea's??? (I am not allowed to change my road geometries.) see the pic.

Hi @hamidatut72 ,

assuming you don't use imported Civil 3D corridors, it could be that there is too little space for InfraWorks to create that intersection.

Move other roads away and see if the intersection is created.

Also, make sure that the elevation difference between road profiles that are used to create the intersections is not too large.

I Imported The Roads From Civil3d Without Creating My Intersection In Civil
3d. The Elevation Of Interscted Point Is Equal For 3 Of Roads. I Tried To
Removing A Road To See If My Intersection Be Created, Also Not Working. I
Think Infraworks Has Much Limitation About Intersections. I'm Still Stucked

Hi @hamidatut72 ,

could it be caused by the new workflow with corridor exchange between Civil 3D and InfraWorks?
Basically, if you load a Civil 3D corridor in InfraWorks, it's built and displayed exactly the same as in Civil 3D, but it's static and not editable. If you try to connect another InfraWorks road it won't work, see also InfraWorks Help: To add Autodesk Civil 3D corridors to an InfraWorks model

I Tried That. But still not  working. actually I need a Roundabout like below Pic.

this type of roundabout will be very hard to do in infraworks and get a decent result try to create it in civil it is more flexible and import it after into infraworks

So, I will Design the roundabout in C3D. But what kind of object should I export&import From C3D to Infraworks to create my exact design?

So I will try to make you guess how to do it. I do not think that C3D Roundabout will help you to do this type of roundabout you have to do it manually, with separate alignments to get what you want appropriate assemblies of course and after you will model it if you are skilled in code set styles and others you can assign materials in civil 3d for assembly links after you have to go in infraworks(very important is that Infraworks and C3D must have Same release data 2020 or 2021 whatever) so you can import directly C3d Corridor in Infraworks from Data Sources panel. and walla!

you get a nice Infraworks model if you modify the C3D corridor it will change automatically in infraworks after the refresh the data source.

I Can Make It Manually. But Some Of Corridor Bowties in The Rounded Corners
Have Appeared That I Can Not Solve That By no Way.

The Median corridor can not reach to the selected target in the Pic. And Boewtiese resolve can not solve this

so I modified your assemblies a little bit and create 2 from one as medina 011 median 012 after I add a small tiny fillet in the corner of the grading feature line after I target back to spline baseline you can review the corridor how do I modify.
