InfraWorks crash complete with error report sent to AutoCad on one file.

Morning

I am hitting too many errors with InfraWorks, which is unusual as I have been using it for 5 years with no issues. I am hoping that there is a solution or others that are finding similar glitches.

I have done all that I can to open this one file, lowered all the graphic settings, dug up an old copy and it refuses to open and sadly has made me rather worried for another fail which did happen last night.

This error happened while I was adding a tiny road and moved it, moved it and moved it again and maybe tweaked it again to get it into the same location as the cad overlay.

There are a number of reports sent off to AutoDesk along with the below files as once it crashed it refused to regen that last tile. This is the latest one as I can duplicate the errror

error report CER_205604617

Is there a limit of number and or size of 2D cad overlays that can be brought in?

Quality? These are PDF import to cad?

InfraWorks 20.0.25.0 not on 20.1  ~not a fan of the old man C3D interface "just saying" and deadline in two days thus not messing with an upgrade

System: Windows 10, 64Bit, Intel i7-8850H @2.60GHz, 32 G ram, Nvidia Quadro P2000

Thank you!

Hi @MirraLee ,

I double checked the database of the error reports and found the report linked to an issue with InfraWorks.
Due to the information in the database it is related to roadside grading and it's supposed to be fixed with version 2020.1.

Do you have a second computer where you can install InfraWorks 2020.1 and double check you model?

Regards,

Karsten.

Hi Karsten

Thank you for your response, I will test the 2020.1 out when I am back from vacation!

My IT is/was looking for a second machine, and I do have an upgraded laptop on its way (someday), when that one comes in I can test the files on there.

Oddly enough when I left the error report open to post this and took a very long time, if finished the last tile and looked like it was working, I want to see if that happens again.

Anyway take care and have a good weekend.
