Importing 3d model with texture to style catalog

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, im having trouble importing 3d models to the style catalog, they all lose or get weird textures when importing, i've tried all the different file formats, but had no success.
Im editing them in 3DS Max, should i edit in other software or something?

Thanks in advance!

So, i found a solution, it works fine when importing fbx files with Naviswork default textures, i still dont know why it doesn't work when importing from 3ds or other softwares, if anyone knows how can i fix this please reply so others can see it too 🙂

Hi @Anonymous ,

texture mapping in 3ds Max and InfraWorks is handled differently.

See for example https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/3ds-max-forum/material-export-failed-from-3ds-max-to-infraworks/td-p/8433454

Regards,

Karsten.
