imported civil3d imx road shows strange surface behavior.

Hi,

whenever I import an IMX road corridor form civl3d int Infraworks, everything works fine using component road option so it can be modified, however when trying to get volumes or looking at a cross section view or profile view, it's like the ground surface gets merged with the corridor. 

This does not happen if I create a new component road.

Obviously the volume calculations are wrong.

Anyone else has seen this behavior?

I think it's a known program behavior, see Volumes calculated incorrectly for imported roads in InfraWorks.
