Hello guys,

The problem herer is that we are trying to export to fbx and it is taking ages and finally need to cancel the task.

My PC is quiite powerful, I wonder if there is any kind of limitation in terms of scene size and what timing is normal depending on the scene size.

Any comments will be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi @BIMadmin,

have you tried exporting a small portion? Which version are you using btw?

There have been quite some discussions about this topic.

I have tried a very small portion and does work.

Big scenes, for master planning the software cannot cope.

Hi @BIMadmin,

there are also different formats that may work better for you.

Check out .DAE or .OBJ

Hello

I recommend you send it in .OBJ in case the problem continues, you can try reinstalling Infraworks,

Hi @BIMadmin,

Another way can be to export smaller portion of FBX and combine them in the other software.

Or you can follow the indication of @Carrillof, he knows a lot about IW.
