Hi there,
I am experiencing an issue when exporting the 3D model from Infraworks as FBX. My workflow consists on draping several ortophotos on terrain models (TIN surfaces). Some of the ortophotos are also showing undesired background so it is enough to apply a colour mask, which gives a quite good model (visualization wise) to be exported. Noteworthy that I have tried to export this model with Large FBX model support enabled and disabled.
As you may see in the pictures below, Picture 1 shows how the model looks like in Infraworks. Otherwise, Picture 2 shows the outcome in Navisworks where it seems there is a problem when rastering and creating the meshes leading into missing spots in the model.
Has anyone of you encountered this issue before?
Thanks in advance for your support!

Infraworks has limitations on exporting overlapping terrain textures. It will only export the topmost texture even if it is transparent at a given location. In recent versions, when creating a shared view this limitation has been fixed. Maybe that helps.
Haik.

Sounds as though pre-compositing you rasters is the way to go, that way there's only a single image?

That is definitely a solution.
