Hello,
We use Infraworks for solar analysis within our infra project.
But I was wondering if Infraworks uses a daylight saving time correction?
To be sure about the real position of the sun at a specific time.
Thanks in advance.

Easy enough to check. Change the date from one day before the time switch and then to one day after the time switch, does the sun position drastically change? If it does, then InfraWorks uses the settings. If not, it doesn't. My guess is it does not adjust for daylight savings time because some locations use daylight savings and others, within the same time zone, do not. And when does daylight savings change?
HERE is a great video explaining the issues with time zones and daylight savings.
Hello Brian,
You are right!
Infraworks indeed doesnt adjust daylight savings time. I also noticed it uses GMT.
So now I know the differences for our location and timezone.
Now I would like to know how to change the settings of the timezone.
Thank you for the help.
Jeffrey
Hello Karsten,
Thank you for the reply.
I know how to run the script in Infraworks, but can't get what I need.
Can you tell me how I can change the script to my settings?
I need following:
january till 25 may GMT +1
26 may till 28 october GMT +2
28 october till 31 december GMT +1
Thanx in advance.
Jeffrey
