Coverage Area Style Thumbnail not updating

HI,

Is anyone else having the issue when changing the style of a coverage area, the thumbnail doesn't update to your new settings?

Is there a way to update the style thumbnail ?

Cheers

D

If you're looking for the way to update thumbnail at home page, this should work:  Click to update the thumbnail. If not can you provide more about: the thumbnail location and product version you're using? Thanks.

Regards,

Kathy

Hello Kathy:

What is being referred to is the thumbnail of the coverage as shown in the Style Palette. I noticed the same behavior the other day. A new style keeps the icon thumbnail of the copied original.

OK I see the problem. The copied style thumbnail issue has been escalated to the development team and hope it fixed soon.

Currently two alternatives I can think of to make style thumbnails and definition consistent:

1) create the styles using new instead of copy

2) or export the catalogs with all copied styles, then import them back.  You may notice a CER dialog if using old release version, which wouldn't impact the import result and has been fixed in latest rolling sandbox build.

Regards,

Kathy
