Coverage and lines

Hi,

I'm quite new at using Infraworks, so pardon me if my question seems stupid.

I've established my model with a terrain model, draped an orthophoto and imported my road. Beside the road I want to fill the areas with coverages - for example grass. Everytime I'm drawing an area with coverage (randomly picked) the polygon visualizes with randomly lines along and across the polygon (see attached jpg).

Is there a way to remove the lines? And why do they show up? I've seen some tutorials on youtube, and I've never come across the same "problem".

The same happens when I'm drawing a tree line with city furniture (see jpg2 #2).

Thanks in advanced.

Edit: By the way, I'm using Infraworks 2018

This is pretty normal. Do they go away when you click somewhere else in the model or hit the ESC key?

These lines are used to highlight sketched feature in drawing mode. They can be removed by switching off 'Highlight Sketched Features' in the 'View Settings' -> 'Interaction' tab. Detailed steps are recorded at  http://autode.sk/2ykMU92  for your reference.
