Hi

Second basic question for today. Can some one tell me if you can globally change the colour of all pipes and structures in a network and if so now you do this.

Regards

Hi Justin,

Off the top of my head I would suggest using the highting options via the Model Explorer.

Select the desired feature class in model explorer, right click and choose Highlight. Then Right click again and choose Set Highlighting Color.

Additionally, you could use the Feature Themes Palette to thematically color some or all of the pipelines and other features you're interested in.

And, you should be able to globally apply new styles to pipelines using the Style Rules panel. For instance, you could create a filter expression that specifies the network you desired then you would select the desired Style in the Style Rules Editor, and press OK. Press Commit in the Style Rules panel, then Press Run Rules.

Hope this helps, and let me know if this works for you!

Best,

Elliott

Come to think of it, you should also be able to open the Model Explorer and right-click on Pipelines, then choose Select All. In the model space, right-click without de-selecting anything, then click Properties. In the Properties Palette, click the ... button in the Manual Style field to open the Select Style dialog. Choose a new style and press OK. Make sure to press Update in the Properties palette or else your changes won't apply.

Repeat this procedure for any other desired feature classes in the Model Explorer (i.e. pipeline connectors)

Thanks,

Elliott
