can we Convert Civil3d Road Top Surface into Corridor In Infraworks

I have a 2 Lanes Road Finished Top Surface in Landxml Format (Exported from Civil 3d) I don’t have any alignment profile or any other data
If I import this surface into Autodesk Infraworks so after importing, can I Convert this 2 Lanes Road Finished Top Surface to Corridor in Infraworks?
If this is possible, after converting this surface into a corridor I want to add side landscapes, parking’s home entries etc.
Thanks in advance

Hi @abrariqbal ,

I understand that you are importing a surface terrain representation of your road.

It's not possible to convert terrain into roads. You need to have an alignment (vector data) to use it as a road feature.

So, if the data is from Civil 3D, there must be an alignment as well that you can import into InfraWorks.

Regards,

Karsten.
