Hi All,

Hope can help please ?

Infraworks model created & properties set to "BritishNatGrid" 

My usual workflow, download DTM from:

https://environment.data.gov.uk/defradatadownload/?mode=survey

Imported coordinated system states "Deprecated"? (clipped below)

However changing DTM to coordinate system to "OSGB 1936.BritishNatGrid", then get the following error message:

Any ideas how to solve ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

is your model from Model Builder?
I tested InfraWorks 2021 with a new model and selected:

1. LL84 for the Database CS
2. OSG1936.NationalGrid as Database CS

Then loaded the ASC files with BritishNationalGrid CS, it worked fine both times.

What version of InfraWorks do you have in use?

Just try model properties to LL84, but that didn't solve:

Hi @Anonymous ,

do you have the chance to upgrade to a newer version. I think some work has been done on specific coordinate system that made troubles in the Autodesk Coordinates System database. Newer versions should work fine.
All programs that can use the coordinate systems should be affected, Map 3D, Civil 3D, InfraWorks.
