Below grade corridor features

How do you handle below grade features in your corridor like walls and footing below grade?

I model them in the corridor for design and production purposes but when I bring the corridor into infraworks, I have them coded to transparent but the terrain still reconizes them and ****izes things adjacent to my walls.

I attempted to fix with a grading area in infraworks but it's so tedious of a task and tends to introduce more issues with the terrain.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi @rspearYL2SX ,

can you send screenshot to show the issue?

If you model a corridor in Civil 3D and load it into InfraWorks, the corridor is a static object in InfraWorks. All transparent parts of the corridor are still recognized and InfraWorks adapts the terrain.

Regards,
Karsten.
