Hi,

I get following error after opening the model, please see log file:

"D:\IWDRprod\Git_Source\Desktop\Source\alx\Framework\AlxApplication.cpp(2925): fatal: unhandled exception: invalid stoi argument"

In addition all terrain textures are missing which were created in Model Builder, only buildings left 😞

Do you know maybe what's going on and how to fix it? Thanks

They have been having issues with Model Builder. @ramesh_sridharan any update on this?

Hi @daniel.loza ,

this error is most likely not related to the recent Model Builder issue.

It sounds more like a model corruption - if other models load fine.
Or a faulty InfraWorks installation - if the error also happens with other models.

What's in the full log file (%appdata%\Autodesk\Autodesk InfraWorks\logs)?

Regards,

Karsten.

Hi,

today I get some other errors. I'm enclosing last 3 logs connected with this model. Other models work fine.

Hi @daniel.loza ,

what type of drive is the S:\ drive?
It could be that it's not supported to work with InfraWorks models and causes corruption, like cloud drives (i.e. OneDrive) or server drives.
InfraWorks models should remain on a local computer drive.
The git part of your model seems corrupt. If you have a backup of the model, you could try that.
You can try to repair the model with the Model Repair tool that is mentioned here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/infraworks-forum/model-recovery-tool-available-for-beta-testing/td-p/...
Or you create a zip file of the model.sqlite file and model.files folder on one of your co-worker's computers and copy it to your computer.

Regards,

Karsten.

Thank you for the answer. S is network drive within our organisation and me and my collegue used the same file in different time, but for me it stoped work. As I understand it's not proper workflow to use network drives? So, how to work properly in our team when there is a need to get acces to the model by many people (not necessarily in the same time)?

Hi @daniel.loza ,

I understand your concerns. The designed collaboration workflow is via BIM 360. Models are synchronized to the Autodesk BIM 360 Cloud. Everyone can access and download the model, then the model is cached on the local computer. Any changes made to the model need to be synchronized back to the cloud so that others can synchronize these changes again to their local computer.

See

https://help.autodesk.com/view/INFMDR/ENU/?guid=InfraWorks_Basics_Collaborate_html

Other than that and if you don't have BIM 360, you can directly copy a model to another computer. Or, create a zipped model and save it on any server or cloud drive.

Regards,

Karsten.

Thank you. Could you just clarify if BIM360 Build is needed or Docs is sufficient? As an Autodesk AEC Collection's user I should have acces to Docs and it will be nice if I also could use this tool to collaborate within Infraworks.

Hi @daniel.loza

you need BIM 360 Docs or AccDocs to collaborate with InfraWorks models.

Karsten.
