Is there any possibly too create iproperties

 InformedDesign_OutputFileBaseName, so you can control the names of files downloaded by end users.

Controlling names is useful if there are variations of a model or drawing that you want your customers to easily identify. For example, if your model name is shelf_unit.iam and you enable STEP file downloads, by default every download would be named shelf_unit.stp. Using InformedDesign_OutputFileBaseName, you can specify the model dimension in the download filename; for example, shelf_unit_48x24.stp.

For drawing outputs, you define this iProperty in the drawing files themselves. Each drawing can have its own InformedDesign_OutputFileBaseName  iProperty.

For other outputs, you define this iProperty in the top-level IAM or main IPT file. In addition, if there are multiple drawing outputs, the iProperty in the top-level IAM controls the name of the zip file that contains the drawings.

If this iProperty is not present, output filenames are based on the names of the original model and/or drawing files.

Hey @JMGunner ,

We appreciate feedback on Informed Design output file naming and are currently considering ways to enable users to define their own unique file naming rules/conventions.  As you can imagine, everyone has a different set of file naming rules they want to apply, so there is no 'one size fits all' solution for this kind of problem.  Stay tuned for updates from us on this issue/feature request going forward.
