Step 1
create Outputs - this works
Step 2
Open ACC-doc
Step 3
download "MasterAssembly.dwg" - "Autocad native"
too local computer
Step 4
Open the Download file
Step 5
The create file is not "Autocad native" is "Inventor Drawing native"
Qustion
what file dwg-format is saved from "informed design"
Best Regards JM
OK. I think I understand.
Is the issue that when you open the .DWG file, it opens in Inventor? (rather than AutoCAD?).
Inventor creates native AutoCAD .DWG files. Inventor .DWG files can be opened in Inventor and AutoCAD. The AutoCAD DWG Launcher application is used to determine which application last saved the DWG, and therefore which application will open it if you simply double-click on the DWG file.
To open an AutoCAD DWG that was created with Inventor, open AutoCAD first, and then open the DWG.
It's worth noting that Inventor and AutoCAD add data to the DWG file in different ways, I've added a couple of links below that might help.
Inventor Help: Types of drawing files
Autodesk Inventor DWG launcher
From AutoCAD to Inventor and back again
Does this answer you question?

I think the issue is that the expected output is what we would get in Inventor: Export->Export to dwg or Save Copy As (AutoCAD DWG), but what seems to happen in Informed Deisgn is Save As (Inventor drawing File *.dwg)

OK. Thank you @JMGunner and @jonoVJDMA I think I understand.
So, have I got this right? The issue is - when you read 'AutoCAD native .dwg' your expectation is to get an AutoCAD DWG export, not an Inventor drawing in DWG file format?
Do you think that this should be reworded in some way for clarity?
Is an AutoCAD DWG export something that you require as part of your design and manufacturing process?
Thank you very much for your feedback.

1. When i read the text AutoCAD native .dwg I thought it stood for "AutoCAD DWG export"

yes / in production they use PDF/Autocad for preparation
@JMGunner OK Great - now I understand! Thank you for being so patient.
Export to AutoCAD is not currently a supported output type in Informed Design. Is it too much to ask that you also add this as an Idea?

Thank you for your help 😄
