Tapping Operations on a Lathe

One of the common operation in our shop is CNC tapping on the lathe.

I have not been able to find any articles or information about doing this. Has anyone had any success with this operation? Does the operation exist? I see that there are no tools templates for such an operation within the tool library.

Hi Robert,

Welcome to the forum. 

Within the Tool Library you have Tapping tools. 

To use these you have to start a Drill operation and select the Tap you like to use. 

The cycles will automatically switch to a Tapping cycles.
