Inventor HSM WCS view toolbar tool in Fusion

Hi,

I´m long time user of InventorHSM CAD and CAM and now I trying to start use Fusion360 just for the cost reasons and in Inventor there is really importat menu in toolbar that I use all the time. This tools always align your camera view to CAM WCS setting. This for me is essential tool when creating new settup to verify that my WCS position is corect. I hope that this screencast will explain everything. So back to my question. Is there some similar tool to use in Fusion?

Unfortunately, no there's not. This is something we'd like to provide. Thanks for the support for that.

Thanks for reply. So is this feature in plan to implement? It is such small thing but more I work with fusion more I realize how useful this is and I just cannot work without this.

FYI, this is something we will add soon -- likely in the December update of Fusion.

Hi Jeff again.

Thanks for listening to my complain on Fusion and adding this feature but I have some point to improve this.

When i press button to align view to tool in some menu (creating wcs, simulation, operation edit) it cancels the menu. So it is kinda useless for my day to day work. I use this to check align wcs when creating new wcs also in simulation after some rotaions and need to quick align.

Also it would be awsome to be able to have view panel in toolbar so that you could alalign workspace quickly on one click, you need two clicks now.

Thanks Jeff for making my idea wish true. Now everything works perfetly but please consider to take view buttons to ribbon toolbar so i can have it avalible to one clic (instead of two) and sign my shortcut for the future. That would be awesome.

Thanks for the idea. We'll take that under advisement. We are doing this out of consistency with the rest of Fusion's interface conventions, but we do have some toolbar rework in the plans for the coming months; we can consider whether it makes sense to make these a little more accessible.
