HSM not Posting cutter comp G41 haas

For some reason the haas post is no longer adding cutter comp in the post, what would cause this ?

Are you using the same post?

Do you have cutter comp turned on in cam?

Looking further into this I see I was using the wrong setting , I set to wear and it gave the cutter comp I'm looking for, off an control seem to give the same output , I myself have never seen a shop program without 1/2 the tool dia except when you want to cut right down the center of geometry. maybe there are other reasons

Cutter comp is more prone to error because every radius needs to fit. Its really convenient to use when programming on the machine, but in HSM you basically only use it for a wall finish that need accuracy. HSM compensates it for you if you don't use "in control"
