Roland 4th Axis

Roland 4th Axis

I know this idea has been posted before, but I have noticed many users have requested the Roland RML post processor to support the 4th axis. Many of these posts were back in 2015-2016, so I would like to suggest it again. If someone has made a modified version to support the 4th axis, that would be great to know.

Hello Autodesk community.

I am using NC code mode on MDX 540, that is I am using RML iso but it allows me work only xyz i.e. it allows me to create a tool path only on singe surface at a time.

I am selecting stock box point as origin and setting that point as home for G54 on NC mode would like some recommendations on that and It would be really helpful if i could get a better post processor for A axis and Automatic tool changer. Currently I am using one setup for top surface another setup for bottom and flipping the stock manually. Also I am not able to understand if I have to use the bottom surface for machining what should be changed “the tool orientation” or “origin of WCS or setup coordinate system”. And if I get appropriate post processor how should I use the 4th axis machine without stopping the machine.

PS I am a biomedical Research engineer.

TIA.
