Linux CNC Plasma, Request for Fusion 360 Post Processor for Command CNC Plasma Cutter

Linux CNC Plasma, Request for Fusion 360 Post Processor for Command CNC Plasma Cutter

Dear Autodesk Support Team,

I am writing to inquire about the availability or development of a post processor for Fusion 360 tailored to work with a Linux-based CNC plasma cutter, specifically one controlled by Command CNC. Many in the plasma cutting community, including myself, use this type of setup and are looking for more integrated CAM solutions.

Currently, Command CNC machines typically utilize SheetCam for their CAM software. However, I have a strong preference and familiarity with Fusion 360 and would like to continue using this platform for all my design and manufacturing processes.

Could you please provide information on whether there is an existing post processor that would be compatible with a Command CNC-controlled setup? Alternatively, could Autodesk assist in developing or customizing a post processor that would allow those of us with this type of equipment to use Fusion 360 seamlessly?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide. We are eager to make the most out of Fusion 360 and enhance our manufacturing workflows with your sophisticated software solutions.

Best regards,

Jeffrey Screen
