I am using the "FANUC- Inverse Time and A-axis" post from the library on my Robodrill with 4th axis and trunnion table. It is a 31i-model B5 control. I am working within Fusion360.
The post works decent except for when trying to use tool orientation in a probing operation. I get a post error because its not supported.
Error: Updating WCS / work offset using probing is only supported by the CNC in the WCS frame.
Error at line: 1588
I need to be able to rotate my part 90degrees then probe a couple features to adjust my WCS in order to get my next feature within its true position tolerance. Is there a way to update the post to allow this?
I tried using the generic Fanuc post but it posts G68.2 which my control does not have, and from what my machine applications department tells me, G68.2 cannot be used on a 4 axis machine, only 5axis.
