Tapping error - unsupported speed-feed synchronization command

I'm getting the "Unsupported speed-feed synchronization activation command" from this post for Dynapath. I've been searching this forum and the help files and I'm out of things to try. The case "tapping" and case "right-tapping" sections are present in the post. I get the same error using either tapping or right tapping cycle.

This is the error I get -

###############################################################################
Error: Unsupported speed-feed synchronization activation command.
Error in operation: 'Drill3'
Failed while processing onCycle() for record 378.
###############################################################################

I'm attaching the post and the model I'm using to test. The other drilling and boring cycles seem to work correctly.

Can you help me? Thank you!

Hi @InfoGZ52M ,

You are getting following error

Error: Unsupported speed-feed synchronization activation command.
Error in operation: 'Tap'

because of the following logic in the onCyclePoint(x, y, z) function.
  if (properties.useRS274) {
    expandCyclePoint(x, y, z);
    return;
  }

When you enable the useRS274 from the post properties, it considers the tapping cycle in the expanded mode. Due to that, you are getting speed-feed synchronization.

Thanks,

Thank you very much.  I need to use RS274 mode. What do I change to make tapping cycles work in RS 274?

Hi @InfoGZ52M ,

I'm not familiar with the DynaPath Delta controller/machine but You can remove that logic and can get the canned NC output.

Before the trail,Please test the code carefully

Thanks,

Can you be more specific about what change I need to make?

I've been searching, reading, and examining other posts as time permits, and I'm out of things to try to make this work.

RS274 simply means EIA G and M code output. When RS274 is turned off, the output is Dynapath conversational code. I need the standard EIA G and M code output, because the rest of the conversational side is not all correct.

I've tried to Rem that logic out, and removed it altogether, along with other code changes, and the post still fails.

Hi @InfoGZ52M ,

The expanded tapping cycle(EIA G and M code) output is not possible because we cannot synchronize the speed and feed of the toolpath.

Thanks,
