Hello at all.

A customer of mine has a Hermle UWF 650 with the Heidenhain TNC 415.

Is it right, that i can use the post for the tnc 407? Or should i try another one?

Sorry about the question, but i don´t work with HSM Posts for so long.

I found nothing in the search about the TNC 415.

Thanks and best regards

Hi @martin.schachtner,

The Heidenhain TNC 407 post in the post library will probably work fine with a Heidenhain TNC 415 controller.

Hello,

I hope, somebody can help me again.

The TNC 407 post works really fine for my customer and the TNC 415.

I had to adjust some things like M6 after tool call, but it works fine.

But there´s one problem i don´t know, how to solve it.

I programmed a 3D Adaptive Job in Inventor CAM and posted it.

But the machine does not work smooth.

It´s like the problem on the iTNC 530 if CYCL DEF 32 does miss in front of a 3D cycle.

But the TNC 415 does not have the CYCL DEF 32. How can i make the movement smooth?

So, i hope somebody can help me.

Hello.

Did you ever figure out of this problem? I have same problem with my machine in 3d cycle movement.

You can try to use the Smoothing Filter (Passes, last option). Try to use 0,1mm Tolerance and 0,05mm smoothing filter. This should reduce the amount of lines. The TNC 415 is not realy a fast control to handle so many lines. We have the same problem with the TNC 426/430 and can get a good solution with this options.

The problem is still there. The customer is not satisfied, but the TNC 415 is such an old control that he has to live with the problem. Or he have to buy a upgrade to TNC426 where the problem is much better.

Sorry that i have no better solution.
