Post Processor Engine Version Info & Update

I am running Inventor Pro 2020 Build 310, Release 2020.2.1. Using Inventor CAM Ultimate Build 7.3.1.20023.

I see there is a much newer Post Processor for Haas Next Gen (version 43182). I see in the release notes "Updated all posts to use the new property definitions. You must have post engine version v4.5702 or higher to use this post. (#849)" How do I verify what post processor version to use?

The only workaround I found was to force an error by downloading the new post processor, attempt to post the nc code and then review the log. Log reveals "Error: The post configuration requires revision 45702 or later of the post processor which has revision 45609. Failed while processing global script."

The second question would be how can I update the post engine without updating Inventor? (We use server based floating licenses so I have to be very careful in not updating Inventor to ensure the server license is valid)

Hi @tholmesCC6G3 and @Anonymous

With the latest update with the inventor cam -2023 we have implemented to show the post engine version in the about page

But let say if you are using the old version of inventor cam you don't have direct option to get the post engine version either you have to open the post.exe in the cmd and check for version else post process the code to find out the version also now we have updated the cam site to show at least 4 last post engine version post processors that you can use to post the output

Let say if your post requires at least 45702 post engine version then you can just go into earlier version post in this case 45500 and download the latest post and use it.
I suppose we can't just update the post.exe alone there might be some issues.
