MECANUMERIC CN7000 POWER AUTOMATION POST PROCESSOR REQUEST

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I own a cnc machining workshop near Paris, France. I'm using a MECAPRO Mecanumeric portal router equipped with a Power Automation CN7000 controller. Mecanumeric is a leader manufacturer for such machines here in France, there are very common in the signage, plastic/aluminium machining industry and at professional prototype/model maker workshops.

It would be great if a post processor for these could be added to the Fusion360 PP database. I dont have the skills to program it myself but I would be happy to provide all the necessary information to help develop it and do the testings.

Your best bet is to talk to a local reseller, and work with them on it.

Is this for laser/waterjet cutting? Or is it for milling?

Their website says that some machine are made with drives and control from Siemens.

Have you tried those post processors?

Do you have a programming manual? If so can you upload it so we can see if there are other posts that are close?

Laurens, I just got back from my friends shop, we went into the built in computer of the machine to see the software name and it says:

  PA 8000 CNC

  CNC 3.4.7.5E

  HMI V 2-1-5

We even called the offices of MECANUMERIC in Italy but I don't think they'll be much of a help, thanks for your fast response, Yury.

Hi there,

Sorry I didnt saw your message last year about the PA post.

I have not managed to get the post for the machine so far, did you tried the siemens one or found another solution?

If not I should be able to find the post info sheet that came with the machine, if that helps.

Hi AchimN,

Thanks for your contribution.

Just tried the PP, it seems some lines are missing in the final code for it to output the files correctly. I dont know if this is particular to my specific machine or if this concerns every PA equipped machine since each vendor probably customizes the software for his own needs.

My machine is a Mecanumeric Mecapro 1015. Attached is a guideline sheet for writing the PP for this machine.

I've also attached a file that works fine on my machine so you can see how it is organized.

Let me know if this helps.

Best regards

David

Hi Hakim,

Hope you're doing fine. I tried to use the updated version of the Post but it still doesn't work.

To many manual changes have to be made in the post processed code.
Has your team worked on this since last time?

Best

David

Hello,
There is no validated PP that I am aware of. I have made some modifications on the available PA post with good results on a mecapro 1015 but there is still a lot of work to do to get a stable version.

hello, do you have any news since the publication of your comment? I am looking for a post processor suitable for fusion 360 for a Meca numérique CNC. If not, do you know of a 3D software that will have it?

Thank you
