Help with modifying okuma LB3000-EXII post processor

Hello,

I need to mill on the radial side of a turned workpiece.

The machine needs to move in the X, Y, Z and C axes.

I get the program working, the only thing the machine is doing wrong is multiplying the X axis coordinates because we are using the Y axis at the same time.

Where and what do I need to adjust in the post processor to make it post out the right commands ?

For example:

X10 (diameter) Y-10 needs to be posted in X5 Y-10 because of the Y axis is activated, the machine itself multiplies every X axis command.

I am using the standard post processor that you can download on the fusion 360 post processor list.

With kind regards,

Brandon.

Can you attach a part file to look at?

Your attached post processor sets the X scale to 1 (radius) when doing radial milling. I tested it on a wrapped contour and it seems to fine there also.

I have a pretty nice post for an LB3000 here:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/hsm-post-processor-forum/okuma-lb3000-post-inside/td-p/9717088

My post outputs the correct feedrate when doing multi-axis milling, yours does not.

Hello,

I can't attach a part file because the design is confidential..

I did some more research on the internet and the scaling wasn't right in the post processor that I had.

Had to change the scaling from 2 to 1 and the program did work perfectly.

I will post the program again with your post processor and see if the machine can handle the movements better when moving the C axis in G0 commands, in G1 it goes smooth, but in G0 commands it is very jumpy.

with kind regards,

Brandon
