Forcing feedOutput - Okuma LB3000 with OSP-300 control

Hi,

I'm using the generic PP for " OSP-300 control"

Two things I need to modify, If you can please help me with.

In the below code (and any other cycles), If the line starts with G cycles, then the line must have all the necessary commands, including Feedrate. But in the generic PP I'm using, if there are 2 or more of the same cycle after each other, then the F only presents in the first one.

My workaround to this was to change

 

 

var feedOutput = createVariable({prefix:"F", force:false}, feedFormat);

 

to

 

force:true

 

 But it adds a lot of unnecessary feeds to all the lines

Thanks for raising your concern via Forum.


Open 'Okuma LB3000.cps' file in a 'Visual Studio Code' or 'Notepad++' to do the required modifications.

 

1. To omit redundant X Y coordinates from drilling, follow the methods

    a. Search ' function getCommonCycle '

    b. Put '//' in front of ' xOutput.reset(); ' and ' zOutput.reset(); '

 2. To force feed rate in drilling cycle 

     a. Search ' function onCyclePoint(x, y, z)

     b. Add ' feedOutput.reset(); ' command after the function 

feed.png

I have one more question @Arun.rs 🙂

What you said did the trick for me but it also removed the X and Z from the actual cycle command.

 

G181 X75. C150. Z-42.502 K40. D8.502 F128 (This line still needs X and Z , even if they are redundant)
C120. (These lines are working just fine)
C90.
C60.
C30.
C0.
