Folder Notes in post?

Hi!
We can add notes to Job, Folder (inside the job) and Operation, but in post we can only get Job and Operation Notes (using 'job-notes' and 'notes' parameters respectively). Is there a way to get folder notes in post?

No.
So I think I see an enhancement request here.

The same goes for "manual-nc" notes. There is no passthrough. This has something to do that manual-nc is not seen as an operation. Its for example not possible to only post a manual nc operation.

I'd like to use notes for easy multiline plain textoutput to the post. This is at the moment not possible with anything else than an operation.

Arjan,

Using the passthrough is only more tricky in the way you need to force a ; between the lines you want.

I mean it doesn't look nice in the box but it works great.

Hi Laurens,

Its all kind of a workaround, but if I can make a custom operation with multiple lines, it wil work ok as a template. If its single line its just to much info on one line.

See example, what do you think is more clear to the user 🙂

I think the one where it's in one line in the passthrough is more clear, because the operation shows what it does.

Where the notes are hidden from the "normal" workflow.

Maybe would be something the guys can take a look at when this Idea gets implemented: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/ideastation-request-a-feature-or/create-your-own-manual-nc-options/idc...

(In other words vote and possibly add your comments)
