DATRON M8 Post processor

Would anybody happen to have and be kind enough to share a post for the Datron M8.

The ones available for download are no good for me, as my machine is a 2004 and has software version v7.06r

Which post are you using and which issues do you have with the post?

I'm not able to use any of the ones available.

There isnt anything that caters for Software Version 7.06

The posts should be compatible with that version as well, so it would be good to know what kind of issues you have.

Ive attached the generated code from your suggested post and a code generated by EdgeCam

Not sure but maybe this is causing the issue, but please have a look at the screenshot attached. There is an option in the properties for the dialog setting, try to set that to "disabled" or "checkbox". Maybe your version does not support these dropdown dialogs.

Finally circling back...mistake was on my end.  Post works fine now that the user knows how to use it. 

My machine does not support some of the smoothing or dynamic mode.  Machine would gag when program was posted with those features active.

I'm sorry to report I no longer have the M8 machine.  Maybe you can ask Adrien Montero at Datron to help you diagnose the issue with your post?

No, I checked before I replied. It's lost to history. I'd ask Adrien Montero...he's really good with Fusion 360.
