Customizing Excel Setup Sheet

I am trying to customize the Excel 2007 Setup sheet. Have quite good results modifying the Excel Template File setup-sheet-excel-2007-template.xlsx.

All is well if I am working within the spreadsheet. However, when I copy on info between sheets something is getting lost. Either the part image or the tool data.

I am new in this field, is there a good tutorial and excel sheets customization?

@Laurens-3DTechDraw There was a webinar related to this subject? I would love to check on that too.

Here is a webinar that I have found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHdTRNGMpO0&list=PLjUJwQJKr2zfMEwqUoUEFpw-Px8dAxnEL&index=3

It is 3 parts (hour per part) webinar discussing post development. The part of the 3rd part discuss the setup sheets customization. Does not exactly covers my problem so... When learning the more resources the better. So, is there anything else?

May be I need to be a little more specific what I am trying to achieve.

I want to collect all information that I really need into one sheet. the real info I need is a basic stock info and tools. See attached template file.

As I have learned today, I cannot put the image onto the Tools sheet. So I have to put tool table onto 1st (Overview) sheet.

I guess I have to change something in the setup-sheet-excel-2007.cps file. But I cannot find anything there pertinent to any particular sheet.

Is there another file?

Please help.

Thanks

As I have said above, I am trying to put (combine) Sheet 3 (Tools) onto Page 1 (Overview). My problem that the same info that is printed on the Tool page does not print on the Overview Page.

So for the tool information make sure the $tool.row value moves over to the overview page with the tool variables. The $tool.row variable is what drives outputting the different tools into the table.

@Anonymous-3DTechDraw
I was told to redo it, but I have had enough requests I might go ahead and post it on my YouTube page

OK; I figured out the issue.

1. The variable should be not $tool.row but $TOOL_ROW (I am not sure if capitalization makes difference). I have checked cps file, there is no reference to $tool.row, but there is to $TOOL_ROW.

2. However, the main break thru came when I have deleted the Tools page and left the Overview the only page in the spreadsheet.

3. I have also spit panes just above the 1st row of tool data.

See final Excel template attached...

Where shoud I add the $TOOL.ROW? are we have to select the all row?

$TOOL_ROW is placed on the same row with the $Tool.Number (in my case) in the last column. Look at my file and un-hide columns P, Q, and R.

Hope this helps...
