Changing after Path location

Hi i am wondering if anyone could give me a little direction on changing the location of where the gantry ends after it is done with the tool path OR maybe somewhere I can go ask? The post is for machine home right now and I would like to change it to a certain number just not sure how the code should look and I believe I have the location that needs changed in line 723 in the pic I have attached? I just want to change the homeXY to a X??, Y??. Z already lifts in the line above. Any input is welcome

This will depend on whether a Machine has been assigned to the CAM Setup.  If you are using a Machine, then you can change the home position of each axis in the Kinematics tab of the Machine Definition.

If you are not using a Machine Definition, then you need to define the home positions in the post.  These are found in the defineMachine function and are usually commented out in the library posts (you did not mention what post you are using).  You will need to uncomment these lines and assign the proper home positions.

    /* home positions */
    machineConfiguration.setHomePositionX(toPreciseUnit(10, IN));
    machineConfiguration.setHomePositionY(toPreciseUnit(8, IN));
    machineConfiguration.setRetractPlane(toPreciseUnit(0, IN));

You will also verify that the homeXY setting is defined to move the machine to its XY-home at the end of the program.

    homeXY                    : {onIndexing:false, onToolChange:false, onProgramEnd:{axes:[X, Y]}}

It may be that you will need to edit the line you referenced in onClose if the homing method used at the end of the program does not match the default method, for example G53 vs G28.

Thank you for the reply. I had to get a modified Post from someone that made this change. Was way more complicated than I thought and I would have NEVER figured it out:)
