Software should analyze on entire part

Software should analyze on entire part

Hi Development team,

I have experience with other cam software, and these software analyze on entire part, it looks more than if you set the level under the part so we slice part here and what there are over here I can’t see. I write this because in this case you have an collision between part and holder.

I have attached the project.

From my experience with FeatureCAM and PowerMILL, I know they do not work like that, they look on all part and not depend on levels

In my view I hope for a wish to the development team to change the way to look on a part.

Hope you understand what I mean.

Thank you,

Jacob Dyg

@Anonymous

I have no idea what you mean.

Can you explain more what you think?

Why do you set the top to that?

I think you mean that the shaft and holder collision avoidance should work for the whole part(and or stock) even when it's not between the top and bottom of the set operation. You are right in that. Since you placed this in ideas you can't escalate it into a ticket. But let's tag @cj.abraham so he can take a look at this.

Hi Laurens,

Thank you for your input, you are right in what you write.

I have written the idea to a person in our internal system also, there would take action on this.

Thank you,

Jacob
