It would be very nice to have every setup start the way you wish: Automatically choosing Milling or Turning, choose automatically Fixed size box, etc
In an operation you can set your default values by clicking "set default" on a field. This is also possible in the Setup.
If you want to make a pulldown or checkbox default in an operation you can use compare and edit. This is not possible in setup.
I can do it by editting %AppData%\Autodesk\Inventor HSM\Defaults\setup.xml but this is not really user friendly.
I think this would be fairly easy to implement
